Taking a Train from Moscow City to Yaroslavky

walking to the wagon We chose deliberately in the winter to travel from Moscow to Yaroslavsky. In my defense, we kinda had to use the holiday a little bit. If we're waiting for the good weather, it probably not gonna happen for 3 months and then nothing again. So this trip was taken on February 2026. So we've decided to take a few days off going from Moscow to half of the golden ring. The name ring, means literally ring. Refers to a few cities that used to be very important in the past. Starting from Moscow city (where which we're coming from, technically). I have to mention the cities here anyway; Sergiyev Posad, Pereslavl Zalessky, Rostov Veliky, Yaroslavl, Kostroma, Ivanovo, Vladimir, and Suzdal. there will be info about the train  We took the train trip from Moscow. Tablet PC

Apalah fungsi tablet PC yg ramai beredar saat ini? Mulai dari tablet dg merk ala kadarnya hingga merk buah digigit itu, dengan harga dari yg paling murah sampai harga yg sebesar satu sepeda motor.

Apa sebenarnya esensi kepemilikan tablet? Tablet sebenarnya adalah alat yg berada ditengah2 diantara hp dan laptop. Jika digunakan dg tepat, tablet bisa jd barang yg sangat bermanfaat dan penting bagi orang tersebut *sebut saja saya, untuk skype hehe*. Tapi si tablet udah kebeli pas saya masih ngajar kok. Jadi dia berfungsi sebagai alat bantu ngajar. Tadinya mikir, tablet buat para eksekutif *terutama yg muda, yg tua mah biasanya gaptek hehe* itu fungsi banget, tapi setelah kerja dikantoran juga si tablet tak kunjung berfungsi. Ehhh berfungsi sih jadi alat buat cek email kantor *rajin kan, pake ngecek email kantor aja diluar*.

Alasan orang membeli tablet bermacam2. Ada yg untuk kerja *seperti alasanku*, untuk akses skype lebih mudah *alasanku juga nih, gegara hp biar kata smart tp udah deketin level stupid*, ada yg buat baca buku seperti ebook *paling males baca buku di tablet*, ada yg buat game *tab ku bersih dari game*, ada juga yg buat gaya2an *sama sekali bukan alesanku*. Padahal 'menghidupi' tablet jg nggak murah. Disaat provider2 murah smakin menyiksa ketika digunakan skype dan browsing, akhirnya kuputuskan menggunakan vendor yg agak mahalan. Berhubung kebutuhan tablet yg besar dan memakan banyak megabyte, akhirnya diputuskan dg berat hati menggunakan paketan internet yg besar dan mahal. Nah. Sedih kan.

Jadi alat ini sedikit banyak menggantikan fungsi laptop dan hape 'smartku'. Smartphone yg hanya sanggup sms, telpon, dan whatsapp ini akhirnya terbantu dg kehadiran tablet. Saya juga rajin blogging pakai tablet. GPS juga sangat membantu, krn kan gede ya tampilannya, matanya nggak sliweng ngeliatnya. Trus yg paling penting bisa skype dg lancar hehehe

Pilihan tabletpun bermacam2 berdasar harga. Ada yg muraaahhhh banget dg tampilan dan kemampuan seadanya, ada yg cukupan lah kayak tablet kepunyaan saya, ada juga yg kemampuannya canggih dan uwaw banget.

Jadi semuanya tergantung pilihan masing2. Kalau ada dana yg cukup dan memang butuh sih ya silakan beli. Asal gak maksain buat gaya2an dan duitnya ga cukup *sekali lagi gak usah pamer2 gak penting. Eh tapi pamwr adalah hak seseorang sih, cuman kadang sebel aja liat orang pamer*. Dan thanks to my tablet ya karena terbantu dia jadinya ga perlu upgrade smartphone dulu hahaha *smartphone pertamaku yg paling berkesan karena bersejarah*.

Surviving -20 Celcius in Moscow

frozen lake in Moscow I'd say surviving because I am a tropical girl coming from 30-35 degree Celcius. So yes, this is about surviving such differences in temperature. I spent my whole life in a tropical country then I have to be in a -20 celcius, not an easy situation.  Obviously, I came prepared. I have been in a 0 celcius and learned that double triple layering is the right answer. Moscow has heater that runs nonstop since the beginning of (probably, I dont remember) November until early May. So you technically can not turn it off or on. Many days it gets too hot inside. Going to the mall in Moscow got me super sleepy and tired because it feels most of the time like in Sauna. Happiness is ...

Few days ago I met new friends. They are friends of my friend. I helped them for their competition. It's good to know them since the way they think about something is unique and quite close to mine. Until one of them ask me : 'What is happiness for you?' I told them that for me happiness is when I stop compare myself with others and not being compared with anybody else (well, you can compare me with others but don't tell me if you do haha!). I used to compare myself with people. For following their success path might be ok, but for having the same life as theirs who seen successful and happy, I don't think so. So I stop to compare myself with others and it make me feel enough. I feel more relax, since I don't have to pretend or to be somebody else. I feel more 'me' because I only think about me and free to do what I want to do (or to think what I want to think). Fire in the Building

Who would have thought that I  experienced fire in the building.  This is my first time living in an appartement. Of course I never chose appartement when living in Indonesia because it’s a real high risk when the earthquake happen. But here we are placed in an appartement. What got me relieved the first time that we are in the lowest floor so if something happen we will be quickly evacuated.  That’s what I thought.  Until it really happened.  We slept around midnight and abruptly woken up by the noise outside. I thought it was the drunk people just got back from night club or the restaurant next door was doing some deep cleaning. So loud that I had to wake up. My husband peeked outside and immediately said “fire brigade outside, you wait here!” I was just “am I dreaming or what?” I put on clothes, checked outside and saw a few of fire trucks.
