Taking a Train from Moscow City to Yaroslavky

walking to the wagon We chose deliberately in the winter to travel from Moscow to Yaroslavsky. In my defense, we kinda had to use the holiday a little bit. If we're waiting for the good weather, it probably not gonna happen for 3 months and then nothing again. So this trip was taken on February 2026. So we've decided to take a few days off going from Moscow to half of the golden ring. The name ring, means literally ring. Refers to a few cities that used to be very important in the past. Starting from Moscow city (where which we're coming from, technically). I have to mention the cities here anyway; Sergiyev Posad, Pereslavl Zalessky, Rostov Veliky, Yaroslavl, Kostroma, Ivanovo, Vladimir, and Suzdal. there will be info about the train  We took the train trip from Moscow. Lin : Pris pris, ini lho cemilan, kuping gajah mini. Enak nih ada rasa-rasanya lho

Pris : rasa apa bu? Rasa sayange?

Lin : weh ngawur ini ah, yang ini rasa duren. Kemaren ada yang green tea

Win : heh?? Rasa duren?? Enak nggak?

Pris : Nah makanya ini tak coba dulu ah

Bebarengan mengunyah kuping gajah mini dan seketika bilang enak, nah si mbak Winny iseng ngeliatin bungkusnya, dan tiba-tiba 

Win : Eh pris, ga ada label halalnya lho?

Mendengar itu ketika kunyahan terakhir dan si gajahnya kuping udah pas glek ketelen

Pris : hah?? Iseng banget sih ngeliatinnya

Win : lho iya beneran lho, nggak ada label halalnya. Kayak poki itu lho, kan nggak ada label halalnya

Lin : waduh! Tapi pris itu nggak nyuri kok, jadi halal

Pris : lagian mana ada tepung dari udel babi? Ada kah?

Win : yawes pokoknya udah aku kasih tau lho yaaa

Lima menit kemudian, Luqman menghampiri…

Luq : wahhh,,, cemilan apa nih? (sambil tangannya yg aktif kreatif mengeksekusi kuping gajah tadi)

Win : nggak ada label halalnya lho Luq

Luq : masa sih?

Win : lho sungguhan, nggak ada. Jadi kamu ga boleh makan ini

Pris : ah itu mah alesan mbak Winny aja biar cemilannya dia sendiri yang abisin

Win : yaelahhh, kan aku sayang sama kalian tho, aku udah berbaik hati bilangin nggak ada label halalnya tho

Luq : tapi nggak ada label haramnya kan? (tangannya makin kreatif mengeksekusi kuping gajah sampai separo bungkus)

Surviving -20 Celcius in Moscow

frozen lake in Moscow I'd say surviving because I am a tropical girl coming from 30-35 degree Celcius. So yes, this is about surviving such differences in temperature. I spent my whole life in a tropical country then I have to be in a -20 celcius, not an easy situation.  Obviously, I came prepared. Happiness is ...

Few days ago I met new friends. They are friends of my friend. I helped them for their competition. It's good to know them since the way they think about something is unique and quite close to mine. Until one of them ask me : 'What is happiness for you?' I told them that for me happiness is when I stop compare myself with others and not being compared with anybody else (well, you can compare me with others but don't tell me if you do haha!). I used to compare myself with people. For following their success path might be ok, but for having the same life as theirs who seen successful and happy, I don't think so. So I stop to compare myself with others and it make me feel enough. I feel more relax, since I don't have to pretend or to be somebody else. I feel more 'me' because I only think about me and free to do what I want to do (or to think what I want to think). Pakai Debit Jenius di Luar Negeri

Amsterdam Central Station  Ini pertama kalinya pakai debit Jenius di luar negeri. Pemakaian ini menggunakan sumber dana EUR yang ada di aplikasi. Jadi uang yang keluar adalah uang EUR, bukan IDR.  Untuk buka rekening valas di Jenius, tinggal ditambahkan saja bagian buka akun valas lalu pilih kurs yang diinginkan. Di kasus ini gw punya rekening EUR di Jenius yang ditujukan untuk transaksi di Eropa.  Karena kemarin lagi di Belanda, akhirnya pengen coba pakai debit card Jenius karena EDC di Belanda belum tentu bisa untuk kartu kredit saja. Sebelum digunakan tentunya jangan lupa untuk menyambungkan kartu debit ke rekening mata uang asingnya biar sumber pengeluaran juga langsung dari tabungan valas itu. Tinggal klik klik aja kok. Tibalah saatnya menggunakan mata uang EUR yang sudah kubeli dari Jenius. Waktu itu gw pakainya di Schipol, di dua toko berbeda, dan keduanya nggak bisa tap langsung.
