Surviving -20 Celcius in Moscow

frozen lake in Moscow I'd say surviving because I am a tropical girl coming from 30-35 degree Celcius. So yes, this is about surviving such differences in temperature. I spent my whole life in a tropical country then I have to be in a -20 celcius, not an easy situation.  Obviously, I came prepared. I have been in a 0 celcius and learned that double triple layering is the right answer. Moscow has heater that runs nonstop since the beginning of (probably, I dont remember) November until early May. So you technically can not turn it off or on. Many days it gets too hot inside. Going to the mall in Moscow got me super sleepy and tired because it feels most of the time like in Sauna. So, double triple layering in Moscow is the right thing to do.  November temperature usually started to feel chilly, still not lower than 0. December will get colder can be minus. Happy birthday sayangku! Age is just number right? someone told me that you will stop to think about 'how old are you' when you reach 25!! Aha! true! I dont even care about how old am I, how old are you, that one this one blablablaaaa kecuali pas ngerilik lowongan kerja yang selalu tulis umur max 25 dan berpenampilan menarik! Aku menarik lho, at least menurutku sendiri hihihi

So.. yes hunny, age is just the number. What I wish for on your birthday is you stay healthy, you always be safe, you can do everything you wanna do, and tetep yaa sabar kalo sama aku hehee.

Well.. I have to say 'thanks' to you hun. Karena kamu satu-satunya yang mampu mengalihkan dunia ku hihi. Thats true. Terima kasih telah menjadi seseorang yang selalu sabar dan memberikanku yang terbaik. Selalu menjadi orang yang bisa dipercaya. ah paling sabar deh pokoknya. Paling bisa menghadapiku paling bisa mengendalikanku.

Selalu menjadi orang yang khawatir saat aku nggak bisa dihubungin (secara sengaja maupun nggak). Selalu jadi orang yang membuatku berpikir 'God! I love this man really. I hurt him many times and sometimes he hurt me but yea we are in love. we love each other and trust each other' yang 5 menit kemudian langsung nelpon karena saking merasa bersalahnya.

Yawes lah pokoknya all the best for you ya sayang

Fire in the Building

Who would have thought that I  experienced fire in the building.  This is my first time living in an appartement. Of course I never chose appartement when living in Indonesia because it’s a real high risk when the earthquake happen. But here we are placed in an appartement. What got me relieved the first time that we are in the lowest floor so if something happen we will be quickly evacuated.  That’s what I thought.  Until it really happened.  We slept around midnight and abruptly woken up by the noise outside. I thought it was the drunk people just got back from night club or the restaurant next door was doing some deep cleaning. So loud that I had to wake up. My husband peeked outside and immediately said “fire brigade outside, you wait here!” I was just “am I dreaming or what?” I put on clothes, checked outside and saw a few of fire trucks. Jangan minta oleh-oleh!

    Taken from internet Pernah nggak kalau kita mau bepergian, trus orang-orang pada bilang 'Jangan lupa oleh-olehnya ya' ? Pasti pernah dong ya... Yang jelas saya nggak pernah ngerti kenapa orang sering meminta sesuatu ketika kita pergi somewhere. Dulu waktu kecil juga saya suka bilang begitu. Siapa yang pergi kemana pasti deh 'jangan lupa oleh-olehnya ya om, tante pakdhe, budhe, mas, mbak'. Tapi lama kelamaan saya mikir 'saya cuman ngomong aja tanpa niat minta oleh-oleh', kecuali kalo memang kita menitipkan hal itu karena memang hanya ada ditempat yang akan dikunjungi orang tersebut, misal buku. Pernah nitip beliin buku di Korea karena emang adanya disana. Jadi esensinya oleh-oleh itu apa? Saya juga kurang tau soalnya udah nggak pernah lagi minta dibawain oleh-oleh. HJ pulang ke Belanda sana saya cuma minta beliin buku. Itupun nggak dibeliin gara-gara bukunya nggak bagus kata dia. Oleh-oleh pun ada yang sekedar apa adanya karena emang adanya begitu...
