Rough Guide to Bali

Penjor "Hey I am coming to Bali, can you recommend me things to do?" I got that question a lot. I get it, I live in Bali so people would think that I master everything about Bali. Well... 50:50. I happened to travel around Bali since 2017. So it wasn't wrong to assume me knowing Bali. But I am also a lazy traveler so I don't always do many things in one place.  That is why we will call this a rough guide to Bali.  First thing first, define your style of traveling. Because we all know that Bali is an island. Not a city. So it is quite big, you know. You can not explore all of it in two weeks. Well you might be able to do so, but probably not immersing enough of it.  So... what is your style of traveling? Bali offers you some cultures, quiet normal life, party hotspots, quiet beaches, busy beaches, temples, and so on.  Mt Batur West part of Bali (Canggu, Seminyak, Kuta) If you enjoy partying, you might want to spend your time more in the west part of Bali like Canggu, ...

Come back to me !

Gimana rasanya kalau sang kekasih yang normalnya cerewet tiba-tiba menjadi diam dan nggak nafsu buat ngobrol? Hehhh pasti mikir kan, “Saya punya salah ya? Salah saya apa? Apa saya nggak sengaja bikin dia emosi? Atau tersinggung?’. Duhh pasti kepikiran deh. Banget. Saya orangnya cenderung nggak peka sama hal-hal yang kecil. Yang gede juga kadang nggak peka kok. Jadi intinya saya emang nggak peka. Tapi mengenai perubahan dirinya, apalagi terlihat mencolok sekali dari yang cerewet banyak ngomong jadi nggak nafsu ngomong. Bencana. Jadi menerka-nerka kan akhirnya.

Waktu ditanya, bilangnya nggak apa-apa. Ditanyain kerjaan juga nggak ada masalah. Cuman lagi males aja ngomong. Aduh sayang, jangan males ngomong dong sama aku. Bikin khawatir beneran deh. Mana LDR juga. Komplit deh khawatirnya. Ya saya ngerasa sih, kadang sama pasangan sendiri masih perlu “me time”. Perlu juga introspeksi terhadap diri sendiri, perlu mikir ini itu. Tapi kok kalau dalam kondisi normal yang nggak ada badai kok jadi nakutin ya.

Pernah kemarin ketika dia disini, saya menemui dia setelah pulang kerja, ngobrol sebentar, eh tiba-tiba “see you in an hour”. Hmm takut dong. Nunggu sejam rasanya ampunn deh lama banget. Sejam kemudian, dia masuk kamar saya sambil meluk saya dan bilang “I miss you”. Duhh leleh bang leleh. Sejam yang lalu rasanya panas membara bingung mau ngapain, dibilang ‘I miss you’ doang, brasa gurun kena ujan salju. Ademmmmm banget rasanya. Langsung deh keluar cari makan.

Hmm satu hal sih yang pasti kalau dia lagi seperti itu, jadi ngerasa kesepian. Dan itu nggak enak.

Come back to me soon. I miss you, I do.

Fire in the Building

Who would have thought that I  experienced fire in the building.  This is my first time living in an appartement. Of course I never chose appartement when living in Indonesia because it’s a real high risk when the earthquake happen. But here we are placed in an appartement. What got me relieved the first time that we are in the lowest floor so if something happen we will be quickly evacuated.  That’s what I thought.  Until it really happened.  We slept around midnight and abruptly woken up by the noise outside. I thought it was the drunk people just got back from night club or the restaurant next door was doing some deep cleaning. So loud that I had to wake up. My husband peeked outside and immediately said “fire brigade outside, you wait here!” I was just “am I dreaming or what?” I put on clothes, checked outside and saw a few of fire trucks. I checked the other side of the appartement and saw a few of police cars and ambulances.  “Oh no, something serious...

Pengalaman Bikin (Free) Schengen Visa di VFS Swiss

I know this is so normal but anyway I like to compare the experiences because people might have different cases and because I have nothing to lose so... here's my experience for applying Schengen Visa via Swiss (VFS). Kenapa nggak via Belanda? Cuma 200an mbak??? Visanya gratis???" "Suaminya masih WN Belanda kan mbak?" "Iya" "Oiya itu gratis, bisa pake visa tipe C. Jadi cuma bayar biaya admin aja" ...
