Getting my Hands on Film Camera

In attempts to slow_myself_down_away_from_digital_life, I am getting my hands on film camera. Yes, the kind of camera where you need to put the film roll in and then start snapping. If you are lucky, the pictures will turn up good but if not then we let the fate decide. This is not my first rodeo on using film camera, but it definitely the first ever to buy the film and develop it using my own money. It is not cheap, which I know.  What can I say, it's an expensive hobby.  I used my first film roll to take photos of my favorite people. So it has more human than random pictures. It was on family event. After the last shot, I wanted to develop it before I flew to Bali but they had no lab. Luckily we have the lab in Bali. I developed and scanned the film in Ojisanfilmlab Bali. They're just a google away. They sell the roll as well. I had to tell the TSA to do the hand checking rather putting it through the scanner. They understood.  Cimol hides himself in his favorite spot ...

Asian Civilisation Museum (ACM)

Penasaran sama isinya ACM ini apaan sih. Letaknya 20 menit dari tempat kita nginep, Grand Copthorne. Naeklah MRT ke sana. Sebenernya sih lokasinya di sekitaran Gardens by the Bay, Clarke Quay situ, sekitaran situ deh pokoknya. Ngesot juga bisa kok. Nah semalem sebelumnya kita iseng jalan dari hotel yang letaknya di sekitar Kim Seng Rd (lupa ya jalannya apa namanya) sampai Clarke Quay sana. Namanya jalanan enak ya, nggak macet, nggak padet, nggak begitu panas juga, sampailah kita malam-malam di Clarke Quay situ. Eh baru sadar pas besoknya kalo ternyata ACM nggak jauh-jauh dari situ.

Didepannya terpampang wajah bapak raja pertama Korsel, Sejong. Trus si HJ bilang, 'wow it's your lucky day, you will see about Korean there'. Ternyata itu masih besoknya pas kita pulang. Semacem eksibisi khusus gitu lah.

OMG! Lagi-lagi kartu saktinya HJ berfungsi dong. Dia punya kartu alumni kampusnya, yang pernah sekali waktu ngasih diskon pas masuk Prambanan, trus masuk ACM dia bayar cuman SGD5 aja. Aku !!! tetep SGD 10. uhuuu

Yaudah dapet stiker buat ditempel dibaju, dan juga brosur. Semacem panduan gitu deh, tapi kitanya bingung. Masuknya pun bingung dari mana hahaha. Tempatnya kurang terintegrasi sih, soalnya abis masuk ke stage pertama, trus harus keluar semacem mengulang rute lagi, baru masuk ke stage selanjutnya. Sampai pada akhirnya kita berdua bingung gimana cara keluarnya ya.

Pertama masuk soal sejarah tentang Islam. Selanjutnya lupa urutannya hahaha. Yang jelas ada banyak arca juga gitu, ship wreck, dll. bentar ya, diintip fotonya aja.

Taking a Train from Moscow City to Yaroslavky

walking to the wagon We chose deliberately in the winter to travel from Moscow to Yaroslavsky. In my defense, we kinda had to use the holiday a little bit. If we're waiting for the good weather, it probably not gonna happen for 3 months and then nothing again. So this trip was taken on February 2026. So we've decided to take a few days off going from Moscow to half of the golden ring. The name ring, means literally ring. Refers to a few cities that used to be very important in the past. Starting from Moscow city (where which we're coming from, technically). I have to mention the cities here anyway; Sergiyev Posad, Pereslavl Zalessky, Rostov Veliky, Yaroslavl, Kostroma, Ivanovo, Vladimir, and Suzdal. there will be info about the train  We took the train trip from Moscow. I would say it's the "normal type" of train. So we sat next to each other. Two seaters next to each other. I think my husband took the non-economy one. He booked the train from the app, tutu. T...

Jumat ceria

Hari ini memang bukan hari jumat, tapi cuman mau bilang aja sih kalo hari yang paling aku tunggu-tunggu itu hari jumat. Why?

Rough Guide to Bali

Penjor "Hey I am coming to Bali, can you recommend me things to do?" I got that question a lot. I get it, I live in Bali so people would think that I master everything about Bali. Well... 50:50. I happened to travel around Bali since 2017. So it wasn't wrong to assume me knowing Bali. But I am also a lazy traveler so I don't always do many things in one place.  That is why we will call this a rough guide to Bali.  First thing first, define your style of traveling. Because we all know that Bali is an island. Not a city. So it is quite big, you know. You can not explore all of it in two weeks. Well you might be able to do so, but probably not immersing enough of it.  So... what is your style of traveling? Bali offers you some cultures, quiet normal life, party hotspots, quiet beaches, busy beaches, temples, and so on.  Mt Batur West part of Bali (Canggu, Seminyak, Kuta) If you enjoy partying, you might want to spend your time more in the west part of Bali like Canggu, ...
