Taking a Train from Moscow City to Yaroslavky

walking to the wagon We chose deliberately in the winter to travel from Moscow to Yaroslavsky. In my defense, we kinda had to use the holiday a little bit. If we're waiting for the good weather, it probably not gonna happen for 3 months and then nothing again. So this trip was taken on February 2026. So we've decided to take a few days off going from Moscow to half of the golden ring. The name ring, means literally ring. Refers to a few cities that used to be very important in the past. Starting from Moscow city (where which we're coming from, technically). I have to mention the cities here anyway; Sergiyev Posad, Pereslavl Zalessky, Rostov Veliky, Yaroslavl, Kostroma, Ivanovo, Vladimir, and Suzdal. there will be info about the train  We took the train trip from Moscow. Wandering Around Singapore

 

Ketika mengejar waktu untuk submit dokumen untuk visa sosbud, kita berdua memiliki waktu 4 hari di Singapura, yang akhirnya kami gunakan untuk explore sebagian kecil negeri singa ini.

Meskipun kecil, tapi tetap saja capek hahaha

Yang selalu masuk di to do list kami berdua adalah makan seafood. Rasanya dimana aja harus ya makan seafood ini. Kemudian kita coba jalan-jalan ke museum Asian Civilization Museum. Setelah itu kita mlipir ke Gardens by the bay, Marina, Pantai yang saya lupa namanya, Pulau Sentosa, Chinatown cuman buat beli chicken coin (dendeng ala sono), tak lupa juga ke kedubes Indonesia hahahah (emang tujuan utamanya kesini hahaha).

Asian Civilization Museum (ACM), HJ masuk menggunakan kartu mahasiswanya yang berakibat dia didiskon 50%. Apa kabar kartu pelajar Indonesia yang dibolongin pas skripsi???

3 hari selalu makan seafood, akhirnya juga kangen soto si HJ ini. Cari lah kita berdua soto yang enak di Spore. Buka-buka lonely planet nih, ada nemu satu tempat yang rasanya bener-bener Indonesia banget. Sotonya, satenya, sama teh tariknya haha. I feel home. Dan baru kali itu ngerasa makan yang bener-bener makan.

Karena kita selalu pake MRT dan sesekali taksi, jadilah kita ngerasa harus beli kartunya ini. Tapi berdasar pertimbangan, si HJ kan lebih sering transit disini dulu daripada aku, yaudah dia beli satu aja buat dia aja. Dia dapet sesame street. Giliran aku dibeliin, berharap dapet sesame street juga, ehhhh dapetnya malah thor. Rebutan euyyy sama dia. Sampe akhirnya pas pulang aku ngambek karena hal lain, eh dia nuker kartunya ini sama Thor-ku hahahha


Rencananya sih mau ketemu temenku orang sana. Tapi ternyata dia lagi sibuk, baru bisa ketemu malemnya, itupun jauh juga dari hotel. Ya sudahlah nanti kapan ketemu. Semoga bisa ketemu dia dan juga partnernya.

Surviving -20 Celcius in Moscow

frozen lake in Moscow I'd say surviving because I am a tropical girl coming from 30-35 degree Celcius. So yes, this is about surviving such differences in temperature. I spent my whole life in a tropical country then I have to be in a -20 celcius, not an easy situation.  Obviously, I came prepared. I have been in a 0 celcius and learned that double triple layering is the right answer. Happiness is ...

Few days ago I met new friends. They are friends of my friend. I helped them for their competition. It's good to know them since the way they think about something is unique and quite close to mine. Until one of them ask me : 'What is happiness for you?' I told them that for me happiness is when I stop compare myself with others and not being compared with anybody else (well, you can compare me with others but don't tell me if you do haha!). I used to compare myself with people. For following their success path might be ok, but for having the same life as theirs who seen successful and happy, I don't think so. So I stop to compare myself with others and it make me feel enough. I feel more relax, since I don't have to pretend or to be somebody else. I feel more 'me' because I only think about me and free to do what I want to do (or to think what I want to think).
