Fire in the Building

Who would have thought that I  experienced fire in the building.  This is my first time living in an appartement. Of course I never chose appartement when living in Indonesia because it’s a real high risk when the earthquake happen. But here we are placed in an appartement. What got me relieved the first time that we are in the lowest floor so if something happen we will be quickly evacuated.  That’s what I thought.  Until it really happened.  We slept around midnight and abruptly woken up by the noise outside. I thought it was the drunk people just got back from night club or the restaurant next door was doing some deep cleaning. So loud that I had to wake up. My husband peeked outside and immediately said “fire brigade outside, you wait here!” I was just “am I dreaming or what?” I put on clothes, checked outside and saw a few of fire trucks. I checked the other side of the appartement and saw a few of police cars and ambulances.  “Oh no, something serious...

Bikin Kopi Sendiri & Masak Agar Hemat

bikin kopi sendiri di rumah bisa sekece dan seenak ini

Memang betul ngopi Janji Jiwa itu enak banget, apalagi kalau beli 3 aja bisa lebih murah daripada beli 2. Sekali dua kali dalam seminggu sih masih oke. Gw tau gw nggak akan segitu perhitungannya sama makanan tapi selagi bisa direncanakan ya sebisa mungkin direncanakan. Karena gw tiap hari ngopi. Gw nggak akan skip kopi setelah makan pagi. Jadwal gw ngopi jam 9 pagi - 2 siang. Gw batasi diri gw buat nggak ngopi lebih dari satu cup per hari, di atas jam 3 siang udah nggak terlalu berani ngopi karena bisa bikin begadang. 

Gw selalu bawa kopi ke kantor. Gw bikin sendiri, masukin botol termos. Kopinya biasa aja yang gw biasanya minum, kasih susu dikit. Bikin panas, masukin botol termos, bawa ke kantor deh. Awal memulai kebiasaan ini nggak gampang. Sering banget lupa buat bikin kopi. Sering juga botolnya kelupaan buat dibawa pulang. Akhirnya belajar konsisten karena kelupaan bawa kopi dan terpaksa beli kopi itu nyebelin banget.  

gw beli ini di Aruna Bambu (IG). produk mereka bagus-bagus.

Selain bikin kopi sendiri, gw juga jadi lebih rajin masak. Ternyata pengeluaran belanja untuk makanan per minggunya sekitar 200 ribuan. Itupun menunya udah enak dan ramah kantong. Paling juga gw beli makan untuk makan siang di kantor. Kadang gw bawa bekal, kadang nggak, tergantung aja bangunnya telat apa nggak. Masih sesekali makan di luar juga kok misal pengen pizza, burger, satenya abang ini, nasi campur Balinya Pasar Sindu, jus itu, seafoodnya amfibia. Tapi udah jarang banget. Selagi masih bisa masak, gw akan masak.

Memang sih di beberapa kasus beli makan di luar akan lebih murah daripada masak sendiri. Ini perkara penyesuaikan menu aja. Gw udah punya menu apa aja yang bakal lebih murah kalau beli daripada masak sendiri.  

telur amburadul, udang garlic, paprika biar seger. lunch bag-nya ini pemberian temen deket gw taun 2015 yang masih gw pake sampe sekarang.

Setelah gw hitung-hitung, biaya untuk hidup itu nggak mahal. Yang mahal biaya untuk gayanya 😆 Gw jadi lebih bahagia ketika tau penghematannya bisa 50% biaya makan di luar.

Jumat ceria

Hari ini memang bukan hari jumat, tapi cuman mau bilang aja sih kalo hari yang paling aku tunggu-tunggu itu hari jumat. Why?   Karena jumat itu selalu ceria, kalopun ada meeting besar pasti di hari jumat dan banyak cemilan, orang-orang pada berangkat sholat jumat, yang nasrani juga mengikuti misa di kantor, bisa pake baju bebas dan bebas berekspresi sepuas-puasnya, dan..... bisa video call sepuasnyaaaaaa kapanpun karena dia libur kerja 😍😍 gambarnya lucu 😁  taken from internet

Write Down Your Dreams, They Said.

Moscow Yes, all things I have and I do right now is all the things that I have written down on papers, during my sleeps, in my consciousness, in my visions. So let's do that again here.  I have another dream that I really think of. It's the thing I want to do when I have so much money, or enough money, or when money doesn't matter anymore, or who knows!  I wanna build a school for kids who can't afford to go to school. I want them to pay nothing, and I want them to learn the basic things like how to respect others, how to tell people their ideas/opinions, familiarize them with being kind, how to think logically, how to solve problems, etc. All the basic survival things in life.  I think my passion is always in education, but I don't always like to follow the old-school rules. There are so many important things we don't learn at school that I think should be taught there. Once we graduate from school, we usually don't know how to navigate life. Who taught you...
