Who would have thought that I experienced fire in the building. This is my first time living in an appartement. Of course I never chose appartement when living in Indonesia because it’s a real high risk when the earthquake happen. But here we are placed in an appartement. What got me relieved the first time that we are in the lowest floor so if something happen we will be quickly evacuated. That’s what I thought. Until it really happened. We slept around midnight and abruptly woken up by the noise outside. I thought it was the drunk people just got back from night club or the restaurant next door was doing some deep cleaning. So loud that I had to wake up. My husband peeked outside and immediately said “fire brigade outside, you wait here!” I was just “am I dreaming or what?” I put on clothes, checked outside and saw a few of fire trucks. Satu tahun sudah aku mengenalmu. Bahkan satu tahun pun masih kurang untuk mengenalmu lebih dalam. Ya, satu tahun adalah waktu yang singkat. Ibarat kata orang, masih seumur jagung. Masih perlu lebih banyak waktu lagi untuk mengenalmu.
Semakin lama bersamamu seperti memberikan kejutan setiap waktu. Betapa aku masih perlu mengenalmu lebih dalam lagi. No no, kita berdua tidak selalu mesra. Kita berdua juga masih sering bertengkar. Menunjukkan bahwa kami berdua masih sangat peduli satu sama lain. Kamu cerewet dan sensitif, in the other hand I am not. Aku mungkin cerewet, tapi kurang sensitif.
Hari selalu penuh dengan kejutan.
Ah, aku jatuh hati melihat senyum dan mata kamu. Mata kamu meneduhkan, senyum kamu menyejukkan. Emosi hati bisa hilang jika mengingat senyummu yang menyejukkan. Aku memang masih sering seperti anak kecil, maafkan untuk itu. Aku pun masih perlu mengenalmu lebih dalam lagi, maafkan untuk itu.
Kadang aku merasa jika rasa cintaku tidak sedalam rasa cintamu. Ahh tidak, mungkin saja hanya ekspresi cintaku padamu yang berbeda.
Harapanku sederhana, ingin selalu bisa memegang tanganmu dan berjalan bersama kedepan. Berjalan dijalan yang sama, menatap matamu, melihat senyummu dan menggandeng tanganmu.
