Getting my Hands on Film Camera

In attempts to slow_myself_down_away_from_digital_life, I am getting my hands on film camera. Yes, the kind of camera where you need to put the film roll in and then start snapping. If you are lucky, the pictures will turn up good but if not then we let the fate decide. This is not my first rodeo on using film camera, but it definitely the first ever to buy the film and develop it using my own money. It is not cheap, which I know.  What can I say, it's an expensive hobby.  I used my first film roll to take photos of my favorite people. So it has more human than random pictures. It was on family event. After the last shot, I wanted to develop it before I flew to Bali but they had no lab. Luckily we have the lab in Bali. I developed and scanned the film in Ojisanfilmlab Bali. They're just a google away. They sell the roll as well. I had to tell the TSA to do the hand checking rather putting it through the scanner. BaliSeries (2): Langit Birunya Bali

Inget nggak kemarenan yang heboh banget langit birunya Jakarta? Hal itu bikin gw nyadar sesuatu, Bali langitnya nggak pernah nggak biru hey!

Kadang kita take it for granted aja kan, karena diliatin tiap hari gitu. Trus gw jadi inget pertama kali tinggal di Bali yang gw beli adalah kacamata hitam. Silaunya bukan main, tapi langitnya birunya maksimal. 

Gw tinggal di Denpasar yang bisa dibilang jarang hujan. Ujan aja sekadar ciprat-cipratin air aja deh biasanya. Tapi akhir-akhir ini ujannya lebih sering dan lebih deres. Mungkin bumi sedang membaik atau apa gw nggak paham deh. Tapi, abis ujan deres begitu, langit langsung balik lagi jadi biru. Seolah tidak terjadi apa-apa begitu. 

Pernah tahun lalu hujan sampai banjir di kantor. Kantor nggak pernah banjir, baru kali itu. Bener-bener deres banget, banjir. Setelah satu jam, teriknya bukan main eh. Langit jadi biru lagi. 


Seringkali ketika gw sedih atau agak bosen gitu, gw tinggal keluar aja nengok ke atas. Yang gw ucapin pasti "WOW biru banget, awannya putih banget."

Akhir-akhir ini Denpasar rajin hujan. Biasanya dari jam malem hari sampe esok paginya jam 10an. Bisa kali setiap hari hujan. Kadang seminggu cuma kebagian sehari doang yg cerah. Kalo begitu biasanya langsung lari ke pantai buat berendam. Tahun lalu gw udah di sini tapi nggak begitu hujan banget. Tahun ini agak beda sih. 

Jadi, karena ini musim hujan dan langit biasanya kelabu, gw mau kasih foto-foto langit Bali yang biru.

Taking a Train from Moscow City to Yaroslavky

walking to the wagon We chose deliberately in the winter to travel from Moscow to Yaroslavsky. In my defense, we kinda had to use the holiday a little bit. If we're waiting for the good weather, it probably not gonna happen for 3 months and then nothing again. So this trip was taken on February 2026. So we've decided to take a few days off going from Moscow to half of the golden ring. The name ring, means literally ring. Refers to a few cities that used to be very important in the past. Starting from Moscow city (where which we're coming from, technically). Gampangnya Apply e-visa Rusia

Red square Jadi, WNI diberi kemudahan untuk ke Rusia. Cukup dengan apply e-visa yang bisa didapatkan dalam hitungan hari saja. Meskipun sudah sering apply e-visa, tapi e-visa Rusia ini agak unik formulirnya. Jadi sebelum apply, gw baca gimana caranya di sini yang amat sangat runtut dan mudah dipahami. Sebelum isi formulir online, ada baiknya siapkan foto 3.5 x 4.5 dengan background putih dulu. Setelah itu jangan lupa untuk beli asuransi. Karena agak kepikiran, gw putuskan untuk beli asuransi dari perusahan yang ada di sana. Asuransi yang gw beli dari sini . Tadinya setelah beli kok nggak ada info apapun, bahkan bukti bayar pun nggak ada. Tapi petugasnya cukup tangkas setelah gw email, gw langsung dapat asuransinya. Nomer asuransi diperlukan untuk mengisi formulir, jadi harus beli asuransi sebelum apply visa.  Nah, bagi gw, ini formulir baru kali ini dapat pertanyaan yang unik-unik semacam apakah pernah pelatihan militer, wajib militer, pernah pegang / punya senjata, bahkan sampai ...
